So I haven't noticed tegu's before I bought mine but here in ontario I found some disturbing things on a website called kijiji I replied to 4 adds with brutal pics of full grown tegu's in aquariums the size of them with only a red heat lamp no water or hide I replied and they took there adds down but not before I got there a dress and numbers and reported them to there local humane societies I couldn't believe my eus there sending officers I offered to adopt all of them just incase I'm buying wood and creating a haven for them in the basement I hope they take these animals :(
