This is my first post so I thought I'd also introduce myself. My name is Matt and I have been keeping and breeding various reptiles over the last 6 years. I have collected over 20 species of geckos, 10 species of snakes as well as some large lizards such as a savanah monitor and green iguana throughout this time. I have decided to stick with large, active lizards and large pythons and boids.
I'm hopefully getting a young gold tegu and have done some research but have come to some confusion on one part of their diet. What type of fruit should be offered and how often? Thanks for the read. Pictures hopefully soon!

Also, is there any pros to using UV tubes over coil bulbs or vice versa? Just want to know which bulb is best used by them.
