I just wanted to give everyone an update on my Columbian tegu Solomon.
He is just over 2 foot now, and he lives in an 8' by 3' stock tank. He had a forest moss/ coco substrate, but he kept rubbing his nose on rocks and it got infected :(
So I just switcher him to reptibark (3 bags, 24 quarts each) and his nose is looking better in just a couple of days. He was very grouchy because of his nose (to the point I needed a snake hook to pull him), but he is much better now that I cleaned it up really well and put neosporin on it.
